The cottage has four bedrooms, games room, central grand room with 18ft cathedral ceiling and sun room. Bright and inviting open-concept living, dining and kitchen areas let the family be together. Log building with all wood interior, wood and slate floors, central indoor fireplace, washer/dryer, granite kitchen/bath, building located on secluded 1.5 acres of woodland and 220 ft of private waterfront featuring mile long views of Lake Muskoka.
Wake with a morning coffee or enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on the front deck of the cottage providing wonderful views of the lake or rear deck providing total privacy and view of surrounding woodland.
Two bedrooms provide a queen and a double size bed with built-in closet and dressers. Third bedroom furnished with two single beds (bunk) dresser and build-in closet. Forth bedroom (single bed) and dresser are located adjacent to the second floor games room. A chesterfield which can be used as a sixth bed is located in the Living room. Full three piece bathroom located centrally in building.
Backyard has fire pit and for toasting marshmallows in the evening, and an exterior furnished patio with barbecue for dining al fresco.
At the waterfront, there is a 24 ft patio size dock landing with dock house for storing water skis. etc. Cottage rental includes use of inboard/outboard motorboat, of course boat license is required. You can spend your days exploring the array of islands and inlets of Lake Muskoka, Joseph and Rosseau. A kayak is also provided for exploring the local area at a slower pace. Allport Marina is located 3 minutes away by boat and parking on mainland is provided for 2 cars.
The beautiful town of Bracebridge is only about twenty minutes away. Here there are good restaurants, interesting shopping, Santa's Village, a movie theater, live theater at Rene M. Caisse Theater, and craft shows. There are several golf courses in the area. Gravenhurst and Huntsville (near Algonquin Provincial Park) are a short drive away.
